Publishing: Project Management and Typography

The brief was to re-design 'Through The Looking Glass' by Lewis Carroll.

I lead the group as Art Director and personally designed the creative type setting shown here. We structured our re-design around the idea of being lost within urban environments.

Our roles were divided into - Director, Designer, Head of Production, Illustrator, Photographer, however our roles remained fluid and collaborative throughout. Some of the photos we used our photographer shot in Birmingham. Our Illustrators work, although beautiful, did not make the final cut as it did not fit thematically. The Head of Production physically produced the 6 books by hand after the printer's press using a Secret Belgian Bind.
